My first love is the sea and especially the dramatic North east coast of England, where I was born. I frequently travel north from Nottingham and take photographs from Wearmouth to Northumberland over the changing seasons. I take photographs when I have travelled to New Zealand, Sardinia, Iceland, France, Spain, Estonia and Ireland. I hope to enlarge the number of overseas countries in the future. I converted from my Canon AE-1 to digital format over three years ago and have fully embraced this new technology, upgrading to a Canon 5D. I shoot mainly in Raw format with no in-camera processing including sharpening. I post process using Photoshop CS2.
